The carrageenan in our soft gel casing is extracted from Irish Moss, a red edible seaweed. It is safe, non toxic and not carcinogenic.
Many people confuse the safe food grade carrageenan with an industrial use form with a similar name such as iso-carrageenan that is modified.
Irresponsible reports have intentionally ignored the iso-part to slander the food item that is a natural alginate.
